Deadline for Aliner Owners Club Web Page Photo Contest Extended

Due to limited entries on the contest, the deadlines have been extended. The opening page of our web site often has a photo of an Aliner, appropriate for the season or holiday that is occurring each month. In an effort to get many more pictures for our front page we are having a contest. Submit your pictures to the web master who will eliminate any that do not fit the criteria or are not technically correct (fuzzy out of focus etc.) The images must be submitted electronically to the web master at webmaster06@alinerclub.org. The images must be no larger than 640 by 480 pixels. They need to be in color and in JPG format. Each image must have an Aliner prominently included in the photo to show some seasonal or holiday or club activity. Aliners decorated for the holidays, rally photos, or showing an Aliner covered with fall leaves or snow are some ideas of the type of pictures that we are looking for. The images that are selected as contenders will be voted on by the operations committee, to determine the winners . Decision of the judges is final. Images must be submitted in an e-mail with the subject "photo contest" to the webmaster no later than March 1, 2011. All images submitted must have been made by the submitter. All images must be less than 3 years old. Each entry to be accompanied with date of picture, makers name and location of photograph. No "photoshop" or other enhancements are allowed, except to adjust for contrast, color balance, cropping or overall intensity. All images become the property of the Aliner Owners clubs for use by its representatives. The images will be used on club web pages and other places as determined by the club and its representatives. If insufficient entries are received the contest may be canceled or extended by order of the operations committee. Prizes will be as follows: 1st. Paid 3 day rally for a region rally or the next national rally (Paid directly to the rally) 2nd. $75 towards fees for a region or national rally. (Paid directly to the rally) 3rd. Three year membership, $50 value 4th. (honorable mention) One year membership, $20 value.The deadline to submit images to the webmaster is March 1, 2011. Each person may submit no more than 4 entries. No person can win more than one prize. The operations committee and the web master are not eligible to enter the contest. The winners will be announced on the web site and at the national rally.

New members receive the latest issue of  "The Aliner Way", a membership card,  2 club bumper stickers, two sew-on patches and a copy of the Membership Directory and an invitation to the annual rally.   Click here for membership Application
