We hold our spring rallies in the north California area because it usually warm but we missed it this year.  Two out of three days was a downpour and windy.  The RV park had an excellent club room and it was well used.

Each morning we started the group out with continental breakfast with tea and coffee.

Saturday evening we went to the Iron Skillet for dinner.

Sunday became an interesting day.  The weather was terrible.  Because of the bad weather people started visiting in the club room.  Someone mentioned it was time for lunch.  Linda Will-Eaton brought in her super powered Veggie-matic blender and started out making smoothies with the oranges, strawberries and banana's that were on hand.  Also any chocolate Easter candy on hand.  Other people then raided their A-liners for lunch items  and a grand lunch resulted.

As lunch was about over Bela Mihalic came in with the makings for goulash soup for dinner.  He soon had helpers cutting up vegetables for the soup.  It was a nice comfort dinner on a cold and rainy day and no one had to go out and search for dinner.

The evening ended with an Easter decorated cake and Linda again fired up her blender and made orange sorbet to go with the cake.  The day was then ended with the always fun white elephant game.

The Pacific Northwest Region, held our fall rally at the Elma RV Park in Elma, Washington.  This was the weekend of Sept 11 to 13, 2009. There were 10 units with 19 members that attended. The park welcomed you with a bag of four homemade cookies as we registered.

We all met again at the Saginaw Deli and Diner for  dinner and  more visiting. Most had been to rallies before so only had open house for the first timers and some big rig people who wanted to see.

Sunday morning again continental breakfast and off to explore, met back for the fun White elephant exchange and cookies, most fun was had by all. the was some discussion on maybe going to the Southwest rally in October, some may go.

Monday morning the campground served us hot cinnamon rolls and orange juice to hit the road on, we all seemed to enjoy ourselves and the weather was very nice.

Dan Hyland, West coast territory manager for Columbia Northwest also attended and brought a new Aliner for us to look over.

The Pacific Northwest Fall Rally was held the weekend of Sept 26th 2008 at the Gilgal RV park in Sequim, Washington.

We were blessed with fine weather which enabled a lot of exploring in the area.  Many of us made the trip to Hurricane Ridge in the Olympic National Forest.  From the top you can see the city of Victoria, B.C. across the Straight of Juan de Fuca and the many glaciers in the Olympic Mountains.

Friday evening we had a welcome campfire with the makings for smoores.

One of the crops grown in the Sequim area is lavender.  The RV park have utilized it into their landscaping.  The park staff had fresh cut lavender and some of our members mad bouquets of it for their trailer.

Sunday morning we held an open house.  The staff of the park was as interested in our units as our members were as well as some other residents of the park.

As usual for our rallies was some rain but on Sunday the sun came out so we could enjoy our open house tour.

The first Pacific NW Regional Rally(2004) was a big success!!   12 rigs, 20 people attended.   A great group of people with several interested visitors stopping by to learn about A'frame camping.   4 club members with Chalets attended this rally.

The Pacific Northwest Region Rally (fall 2005) was held in Prosser, Washington from September 30th, through October 3, 2005. We had nine units with 17 members present. The rally was held at the Wine Country RV Park. To our surprise the owners had been on a salmon fishing trip and on Friday night the park was having a salmon bar-b-que and all our members were invited to attend at no cost. Well free food was too good to pass up and we all had a good time. It rained and the host was upset about it but we told her it is normal for us to have a rally in the rain. The park had a large club room and each morning started out with coffee, juice and toast or bagels. The area around Prosser supports several wineries as well as a cheese factory for the members to visit.

Saturday night we all met at the Blue Goose restaurant for dinner. After the dinner we met back at the club room and played a white elephant game. This was good for several laughs plus getting a good gift out of it. Sunday morning was time for the open house and as usual we had interest in our little houses from other RVer’s in the park.

The Pacific Northwest Region Rally (Spring 2006) was held April 17,18,19 at the Mountain Gate RV Park in Redding, Calif. Nine units with 17 members on attendance.

Each day started with a breakfast bar of bagels, fruit, coffee and juice. The weather for the first time was clear and warm.  We normally hold our rallies in the rain.  The members were able to explore a lot of the surrounding area.  Tom and Barbara Soumas drove to Mt. Lasson and brought back a tub of snow.  A small snow bunny was made with the snow.  It did not last long in the sun and warm day.

Tuesday's dinner was catered in the recreation room by R.C.'s BBQ & Steak house.  Chicken and tri tip with all the trimmings was served.

Wednesday evening we had a white elephant game for the evenings entertainment.  Jacqueline Ball surprised us by making brownies in her dutch oven for desert.
