Why Should You Go to the National Rally?
We took our Aliner on various camping trips in and around California without ever seeing another Aliner. While searching the Internet for information about Aliners we found the Aliner Owners Club. Out of curiosity we decided to join. The club sent us newsletters and we read them. That was the extent of our participation.
In 2004 we saw that the national rally was going to be at Mt. Rushmore. On a whim, we decided to go. In all our years of camping we had still never seen another Aliner. When we arrived at the rally we saw that the campground was covered with Aliners. They were everywhere! Unbelievable.
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. It was easy to start a conversation and to find things that we all had in common. We toured Aliners and saw the changes that people made. We took photos and vowed to borrow some of their ideas. We got to show off our Aliner. We learned things. We relaxed. We went to workshops. We visited. We laughed. We won a door prize. We went sightseeing. We ate good food. We made friends. We had a blast!
Since then we have attended many more national rallies and our experience has always been the same; meeting great people, discovering innovative ideas, and having an unbelievably good time. I know that our experience is not unique. National rallies are always great fun. Are rallies for you? You won’t know unless you try one.
